This page AMDA(THE AMERICAN MUSICAL AND DRAMATIC ACADEMY) is a college and conservatory of the performing arts located in New York and Los Angeles. I was inspired by my high school dance teacher to further on my dance career on my prom day. I was nominated on my prom day as the best hip-hop dancer and I have gone out for school dance competitions and came back with the first place trophy. On my prom day, the only advise I was given by my principal and school dance teacher was to continue my dance career and not kill the talent in me. I thought of it and I searched for a dance school and I came across AMDA. I applied for it and was sent a letter to come and audition for it. I was asked if I wanted a scholarship and I said I wanted it and I applied for it. I went for the audition on Saturday March 5,2012 and was told I was going to receive a package for them soon. I received a package on April 10,2012 that I was accepted and I also won the two year scholarship
